The most difficult part of my breast augmentation was the support, and not the kind of support that comes from a bra. It seemed like no one was fond of me getting breast implants. They all seemed a bit judgmental and very critical of the idea. The very people you turn to for things like this were the ones that were shunning me for even thinking it.

While perusing the internet for information on breast augmentation I came across the forums which had a bustling community of women chattering on about breast augmentation. I’ll admit, I was a lurker; I didn’t really make any comments or contribute to the discussions going on, but I read, I read them all. It’s a good thing I did. The ladies of the forum gave me hope, and gave me the strength to go on with my procedure. I didn’t feel guilty, it didn’t feel like a mistake, in fact, it was one of the best things I did for myself.

Luckily for me the forums also led me to my doctor. At first I was a bit worried that there would be many doctors to choose from, but luckily, there seemed to be what seemed like a choice few. I really got a sense of quality over quantity.
