Throughout my life I was the type of girl that was shy and pretty much out of "the scene." All that changed after I decided to get breast augmentation. I'd have to say that at first I was very apprehensive, but after doing a lot of research and communicating with others on breast aug forums I began to feel more confident about surgery. How I found my plastic surgeon was pretty odd. About a month ago I was browsing through Allure magazine and noticed these cute little squishy doctor dolls provided by BreastImplantsUSA. I visited the site and signed up to receive one. Those things are too cute. Anyway, I decided to check out the site and was amazed by the amount of breast augmentation information that was presented to me. The site had everything from a directory of plastic surgeons to an array of breast augmentation articles.

After browsing through the entire site and gathering the information that I needed, I began searching for my plastic surgeon. I contacted about 2-3 of them and in the end I decided to go with Dr. Baruch Jacobs of Miami Beach, Florida. Aside from the fact that he was just around the corner from me, I went with Dr. Jacobs because of his amazing before and after results. I knew that after seeing those I'd be in good hands. What I enjoyed most about Dr. Jacobs is that he helped me prepare both mentally and physically for the surgery. I can honestly say that I wasn't too worried about it. Besides I had my doctor doll with me during surgery. :)

Overall, it was a success. Each day I look at myself in the mirror and say "Veronica, you look amazing." The surgery absolutely changed my life and now I feel more confident talking to people. Before I'd always want to stay home and just do nothing, now I'm calling people left and right to go out. Life's good.
